Blind Dog Studio Presents Hazel Iris, Mally Harpaz, Burning Salt

  • Rosemary Branch Theatre 2 Shepperton Road London, England, N1 3DT United Kingdom (map)

Blind Dog Studio Presents returns to London on Sunday 2nd June for another evening of celebrating the breaking of boundaries between the musical arts - this time at the Rosemary Branch Theatre!

Overlooking Regent's Canal, the Rosemary Branch was once a Victorian music hall. Mally Harpaz (featuring brand new album Zoom In Zoom Out) and Hazel Iris (The Story of Lily with songs from new album Nine Sisters) will be giving intimate performances in this historic venue. Legend has it that greats such as Charlie Chaplin and Marie Lloyd performed here, so we’ll be in excellent company!

As in previous performances, spaces for this show are limited and sure to go quickly - so book ahead and reserve your tickets now!

Californian songstress Hazel Iris performs a set of her quirky folk-inspired indie songs, accompanied by cello, guitar, violin and percussion (Mally Harpaz). With a dark and playful attitude to writing music, her unique sound blends crystalline vocals with a twist of magic.

Multi instrumentalist Mally Harpaz performs her original compositions joined by a small number of phenomenal musicians and special guests. These distinct pieces were mainly written as part of a collaboration with award-winning video artist Clara Aparicio Yoldi.

Burning Salt release their debut album 'Automatic Lullaby' at the end of May and will be performing a stripped down set. Poetic, raw and alive, their performances draw on folk, country and blues, in the vein of PJ Harvey, Nick Cave and Tom Waits

Tickets: £8 online/ £12 on the door
